What the f*#k is wrong with our fans?... "Thank you sir, can I have some more pleeeese thank you.

Burnley game apart which I think was mainly due to the march being cancelled and some still wanting to make a point, even then the majority could not even raise a chant against the board to support those risking life bans in their behalf.
Fans are just turning up and letting those cunts take the piss out of them game after game for 2 fucking years now.
I was shocked yesterday at the apathy and acceptance, the game was out of reach and tens of thousands just standing there in complete silence with the look of shell shocked soldiers.
This would NEVER have happened in the past, the one and only way to vent our anger and contempt for those cunts and try and salvage something from the day whilst at least releasing some of the pent up frustration, yet nothing, not a peep?

I was contemplating going and standing under the directors box myself to give them shit on my own but just walked out on 75 mins, the earliest ever for me, I never even left a game early at U.P, it's getting more and more common at the L.S and earlier and earlier by the game.

I am hoping that once we are safe / relegated officially then all hell will break lose, not holding my breath though...

As I said on another thread, all that's gonna happen is that we will scrape staying up (possibly), have a grumble at the end of the season, then it will be the transfer window thread, the new kit(ooh I wish it was Adidas) thread and the pre season friendly thread..,.... If you feel that strongly don't give the cunts Any of your Dosh and don't go....believe it or not there is more to life and you can go for a beer on a Saturday afternoon without it having to be in walking distance of the shithole!

Getting a ticket without being a ST holder ain’t easy.

It is, I've been to plenty of away's this year & never failed to get a spare on the day...

It's easy.....you all get a FREE ticker tape message display app on your phone and the only difficult bit will be agreeing the message thousands are holding up.

Media will be all over it and everyones got a phone and they can't stop you taking it in.

Many on the list will have evaporated. I know a few who have changed their minds and have turned down a free match ticket when offered let alone paying out for a season ticket.

There will be some who can afford to buy a season ticket and just cherry pick games, but that will mean more empty seats and a worse atmosphere than now which will result in more giving up going. I know Liverpool fans who have bought five season tickets just to see Premier League football and an Arsenal fan. Nothing will change with the twobobs running things and while there's the Sky money to fall back on.

Getting a ticket without being a ST holder ain’t easy. So people will renew, maybe cherrypick their home games, and do the away games.

I agree, season ticket sales, or the lack of them, will make them think.

Can we do it though? Doubtful but it'll be the only way to make these arseholes take notice.

Exactly, boycotting a game and the odd protest outside achieves nothing. the only way forward is to not renew your season tickets, it’s that simple. You will still be able to watch games/get tickets etc, so you won’t miss out.

It's won't be Boycotting the Everton game... it will be sacarficing your ST... they won't give a fuck if a third is missing from the Everton game as a one off... as they already got your dosh...

HairyHammer - bang on mate, 100% right. The only way to effect change at this shit club of ours, the club we love, is to boycott the fucking place until they realise we mean what we say when we want them out.

But it'll be a war - they're rich, very rich, so it will take a lot of boycotting to effect change.

Who's got the most desire? Us for the love of our club or them for the love of money, because it will take a lot of boycotting to effect the change & there's an awful lot of hammer's that live for the match day.

And those cunts know it..

If West ham are mathematically safe before the last game the best way to have a say as a fan in this debacle is not to go to the Everton game but I know our fans will not listen.

At the end of the season when they first took over we finished 17th on 35pts and here we are 8 fucking seasons later probably going to do the same again. A good season under Bilic but mostly its been gash. Yarmouth is right about causing a negitive image around the club to affect sponsorship, helps that the press are now slating the board.

I think you’ve nailed it there fella. And my view on the whole sorry mess is this –

If this was where we worked, a business (& to the board it’s only a business because we’re called customers) & we’re getting short changed continuously we’d have two choices.

a. put up with it for a wage even if the wage is crap but it suits their revenue stream
b. go on strike and withdraw our labour which directly effects their revenue

It is the only thing that business people are interested in – the revenue stream.

This board has gambled with our team via a crap but cheap manager, and crap but cheap players (crap foreman, crap workforce) to retain our position in the top flight of football or the top flight in football business.

They’re gamble may pay off & we stay up. If it does, nothing changes. If it doesn’t they will take the parachute money and if we don’t go back up the next season, they will bail out.
If we go up they’ll stay and reap the benefits of new prem/TV money repeating the same cycle.

This is because the ’business model’ they have put together is achieving their fiscal targets plus they have sold the Boleyn and put the money in their collective pockets already – clearly part of the business model.

They don’t care a fuck about our performance as a football club, it’s purely based on fiscal return against investment. They’re business people, not football people.

So we’re wasting our breath saying that the team could improve with this or that signing or this or that new manager because they aren’t interested in the football team, just the revenue stream.

I posted recently that we should simply not attend, much like the Arsenal fans and make a statement by our absence. A few, doesn’t matter who, disagreed because the turnstile revenue doesn’t amount to much in the bigger picture. I agree with that. BUT – the sponsors, who pay a fuck load of money into the boards revenue stream DO CARE about empty seats and an ‘empty stadium’ because it affects their brand image of investing in success and when shown on TV it reflects poor performance – bad brand image.

You could argue that if/when we get relegated the sponsors will pull because they won’t want to be linked to a ‘loser image’. IMO that’s true, but this board are clever and they would have tied sponsors into contracts that prohibit them bailing out in the event of a 1 x year exit from the prem. I don’t know this is true of course, but what businessman wouldn’t?

If, in the event that the sponsors have also been clever and not tied themselves in & therefore leave, then the board will invest just enough to get us back into the prem & use the parachute payment to shore up their business plan. Promotion will attract new sponsors all over again.

If we fail to get up 1st time around, then, if the business model doesn’t provide their revenue requirements, they’ll sell us and leave us in the wilderness and not give a fuck.

It’s a business, not a sport for these cunts.

So – do we put up with shit wages (shit football) or do we strike (not attend for a good few weeks).

Protest have an effect but they know they can ban a few of us for life which will ‘bring the masses back into line’ - & it did.

The only way to reverse this is to boycott the ground and affect/endanger their revenue stream.

Otherwise – it’s goodbye to our club as we have known it for decades because they will not change, listen, or feel the need to do either.

I was up for joining in any rush to the directors box or anti board chants but was on my own so difficult to start anything off esp singing.
As I said in the OP I felt the urge to go on a one man protest but it's a pretty daunting and intimidating when you are actually standing there looking at the barriers and increased security all around the stadium wondering how and if you could do it. Massive respect to those that did at Burnley!
Not really my style obviously, but always up for it.
